Imagine this – you are an energetic 17-year-old beginning your liberal arts degree. Your classes are reinforcing your love for writing. Feeling inspired, you begin a WordPress blog, envisioning becoming a successful blogger.

If that scenario resonates with you, you may experience thought processes like the one I had when I started my first blog in 2017.

Now, a year and a half post-grad, I have to admit that I haven’t touched the blog since (except to change its name).

I am someone who gets bursts of motivation. I have an ongoing list of projects and hobbies I want to start. With 2023 around the corner, I’m not surprised that I’ve been thinking about starting a blog again. (I know myself very well). But, I have grown up a bit and matured from my 17 year-old-self. So, I imagine this blog will be somewhat different from my first attempt.
