This too shall pass🤍
Friendly reminder: our minds are fickle and moods can change in an instant for seemingly no reason.
@julia.sophh This too shall pass🤍 Last week I was on top of the world and feeling like a certified Girl Boss. And this week…I felt slumped. Why? I honestly don’t know. Friendly reminder: our minds are fickle and moods can change on a dime for seemingly no reason. Navigating emotional ups and downs can feel exhausting. I wish I had a simple solution for avoiding uncomfortable mood swings, but I don’t. But I do have some tips that can help you ride out these waves: 🌟Remember that this too shall pass. As terrible as it feels right now, the icky feelings won’t last forever. Knowing this can provide some comfort. 🌟Find something to focus on. The idle mind can be a scary place. Focusing on a project can provide a sense of purpose and prevent spiraling. 🌟Re-ground yourself. Slumps usually stem from worrying about the past or future. Use tools, like meditation, mindfulness, yoga, focusing and sensory experiences to re-ground yourself in the present moment. Even repeating a mantra like, “Be here now” can help. I hope this message reaches someone who needs to hear it! Sending peace and love🩷 #mentalhealth #mentalhealthtips #mentalhealthtiktoks #thistooshallpass
