Reframe: Tell yourself you feel excited for Monday and identify at least one thing to look forward to.
Remember, your mindset hugely impacts your experiences. Telling yourself that you hate Monday will make you feel miserable.
I’ve made huge positive life changes just by changing my mindset. Here are some tips to help you do the same!
How to Love Monday
💖Set exciting goals:
There is nothing like a good goal-setting sesh to get you excited about life! Brainstorming new goals over the weekend motivates me to dive into the week.
💖Create routines you love:
Don’t underestimate the power of your routines. Cultivating restorative routines can greatly improve your quality of life. I know I look forward to my daily routines. For example, my morning routine includes yoga and a yummy, nourishing breakfast. Implement small, feel-good habits that keep you motivated throughout the day.

💖Give yourself something to look forward to:
Plan a fun treat that makes Monday feel more exciting. You can start the day at your favorite coffee shop and end the day watching your favorite show. I set aside time in the evenings to read a good book. Looking forward to that ritual makes Monday more enjoyable.
💖Plan to eat your favorite meal:
Similar to the last tip, knowing you’ll get to eat your favorite meal can make Monday feel more fun. I love starting my week with fresh fruit that I cut up the night before.
💖Avoid speaking negatively about Monday:
Our words are so important. If you complain about Monday, you will dread Monday. Speaking negatively about Monday will keep you stuck in the Miserable Monday cycle. Pay attention to your words and thoughts. Do your best to maintain a positive mentality.
If the people around you complain about Monday, try to redirect the conversation.
Remember that Monday is just a day. You can decide that Monday is your favorite day of the week and make that your reality!
Of course, I am not perfect with this, and I still have hard days. But we can all continue taking steps to shift our mindsets and embrace life’s positive moments.
