The holiday season conjures up warm memories of time at home with my loved ones. Our house always felt so comfy and full of holiday cheer.
I look back fondly on that special time spent relaxing with my family. This is when I first learned to embrace and romanticize the seasons.
As I’ve grown into adulthood, I’ve strived to create my own seasonal routines. And I want to inspire my fellow cozy lifestyle lovers to do the same.
As I mentioned in my last blog post on How to Have a Cozy Thanksgiving, this is the time of year for cozy traditions.
Now, here are some simple ways to romanticize this season and make your Christmas feel cozy.

Cozy Christmas Inspiration
Set the Vibe
Set up your environment in a way that puts you in the holiday spirit.
Seasonal decorations bring so much joy. Please put up some decorations, even if you don’t think your space looks Pinterest-perfect (whatever that means).
You don’t need to spend a lot of time or money to set the holiday vibe. These are some of the small ways I like to fill my space with holiday joy.

Bake
Baking is such a cozy activity, especially around the holidays. This is the perfect opportunity to spend time in the kitchen learning how to bake fun treats. I’m excited to use some of my time off this season to practice my baking.
Spend time with friends and family
The holidays invite us to spend time with our loved ones. I’m so excited to go home soon and be cozy with my family. I treasure our time together. I’m also enjoying making holiday plans with my friends, like a trip to a Christmas market.
Make Holiday Crafts
Crafting is another classic cozy activity. And making a seasonal craft can help you get into the cozy holiday spirit.

Watch Holiday Movies
I love watching holiday movies with my parents. Every year, I look forward to our tradition of watching the Christmas classics together.
Read Holiday Books/Listen to Holiday Audio Books
Seasonal books are another great way to embrace the holiday spirit.
I have been enjoying listening to A Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Colgan. And I also love reading Truman Capote’s short stories, “One Christmas” and “A Christmas Memory” every year.
Look for Inspiration
Consuming holiday content makes me feel so inspired.
